Vegetables are a must in any Asian dishes. Cooking vegetables are very easy and do not require elaborate preparations and can be ready in minutes. Unlike western cooking, Vegetables are normally stir-fried and most of the nourishment are retain if done this way. Lettuce, cucumber, Pak Choy, cabbages all can be stir-fried.
Here I am showing how to cook Pak Choy, but you can use lettuce as an alternative if Pak Choy is not available.
1. 400 gms. Pak Choy (or lettuce)
2. 2 cloves of garlic - sliced thinly.
3. 1 tablespoon of soy-sauce.
4. 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.
Method.
Heat the oil in a pan or a wok. Put in sliced garlic pieces and do a quick fry for about 1 minute.
Put in your Pak Choy or lettuce in the pan and add in the soy-sauce. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes. If you prefer your vegetables more cooked, then do it for 3 minutes instead.
That's it, you're done!
The dish can be eaten stand-alone or served with plain white rice.
